Ms. Ying Jin has 15 years successful Chinese language and culture teaching experience
in diverse educational settings, including middle schools, high schools, and colleges in
both the U.S. and China.
She is currently a teacher of all levels, including Advanced Placement, of Mandarin Chinese at the Fremont Union High School District in Cupertino, California.
Additionally, she is a STARTALK Lead Instructor for the 2013 Stanford University/Sunnyvale School District and has served in a similar position for the past four years in the Stanford/Palo Alto Unified School District programs.
She has presented professional development sessions at conferences, such as ACTFL, CLTA, and STARTALK. She enjoys networking with other educators and promoting Chinese language teaching and learning at all levels of our educational system. Ms. Jin volunteers on a regular basis for many educational and cultural organizations in the SF Bay Area, but especially those that have the potential to
enrich her students understanding of Chinese language and culture.
